Hydrostatic Stretch Test Equipment

MBM Associates offers Hydrostatic Stretch Test Equipments. These are employed for testing high pressure gas cylinders and containers to investigate adequacy of elastic strength of material of construction and strength of joints, which is a guide line to meet with the requirements of safety code as per high pressure gas cylinder rules on the basis of Indian Explosive Acts. Normally the test is carried out after manufacturing and at a prescribed interval of service of gas cylinders and containers. The equipment is an assembly of a pumping unit and a stretch registering gadget board mounted on a stand. The pumping unit is a reciprocating type plunger pump having pressure capacity up to 300 kg/sq.cm. The stretch registering gadget is a panel fixed with graduated glass tube, water reservoir tubes, pressure gauges, control valves and connecting piping. The equipment is available either with an electric power drive or compressed air operated or a hand lever manually operated.
