PICOGLOSS 503 manufactured by Erichsen, Germany is a compact, portable three-angle gloss meter with measuring geometries of 20°, 60° and 85°, for standardised measurements (in accordance with DIN, ISO, ASTM, BS and JIS) ofall three gloss ranges “high gloss“, “medium gloss “ and “low gloss“ - thus it is almost universally applicable.

PICOGLOSS 60° is one of the smallest portable gloss-measuring devices. EN ISO 2813, DIN 67 530, ISO 7668 e ASTM D 523. It was designed for the non-complicated mobile gloss measurement in accordance with the most frequently requested, standardized measurement angle of 60°. But, it considers even also the requirements of some uncommon 60° gloss measurements deviating from the standard, which indeed a lot of users within their daily testing reality are faced with. It measures gloss using a standard 60° angle, the angle requested in the paper industry: printing, packaging, overprint coatings and related applications. PICOGLOSS is microprocessor controlled and has instead of usual filament lamp a power saving and extreme long lasting LED. The measured values can be transferred by USB interface to a PC. Measuring range: 0 – 1999 gloss units with automatic changeover at 150 gloss units. Calibration is fast and simple with only one calibration standard. LCD display also shows messages.

The PICOGLOSS 560 MC-X is supplied with a Manufacturer’s Certificate M in accordance with DIN 55 350-18. Actual and setting values of the gloss standards, product indication, test equipment used with calibration status, date, name of inspector. In the range up to 100 gloss units the linearity is checked by means of 4 gloss standards (the maximum deviation permissible is 1 gloss unit).
