Geometric Measurement System

The Dynascan geometric measurement system, Model DGMS-3 is a computer based geometric measurement system for tracing of components to the PC. This system interfaced with a Dynascan profile projector combines to form a tool for reverse engineering a wide variety of components. The powerful software based controller enables features like lines, points, arcs, circles, curves or complete parts to be traced for further processing. Dimensions, tolerances, constructions, comparison with AutoCad master drawings or SPC analysis can be carried out. Measured details can be presented as drawings, in tabular form as graphs, bar charts or exported to Excel. Measurement of the first part automatically becomes a stored programme for inspection of repetitive parts. The entire software is extremely user friendly and can be mastered in no time, leading to multifold increase in productivity and accuracy of measurements.
