Linear Technologies offers a digital force gauge, Series BG, which incorporates many user-requested features and specifications. The flexibility of this series allows it to be used in a variety of applications ranging from simple push-pull force measurement to being a part of a sophisticated system for process control or automated testing. It has RS-232 output for data communication and dual settable set points for Hi-Lo functions. It can be used as a handheld push-pull gauge or can be mounted on a test stand. It is ideal for quality control, material testing, muscle strength testing, ergonomic studies and all most all other applications involving force measurement. Features: RS-232, Mitutoyo and analogue output; GCL - gauge control language for full control of all functions; dual set points with output; general purpose 1/O for data acquisition; and averaging mode for obtaining average force readings over a period of time. All instruments are supplied in a cushioned carrying case with an AC adapter, user's manual, NIST certificate, flat head attachment, hook, chisel, cone, V-groove and extension.
