Flexible Endoscopes

Bombay Tools offers Flexible Endoscopes. These are used to view hard to reach areas, bores or for example inside automobile engines or pump impellers. These use high-end fibre optic technology to produce clear images. Features: brilliant, bright light; a high resolution image guide with 7000 single fibres produces a super-high resolution image; a large 50 degree opening angle ensures a large field of view; multi-coated, high-resolution achromatic optics provide a colour correct and sharply focused image that covers the entire field of view "edge-to-edge"; quality, compact rod lenses for high light transmission; continuous focusable eyepiece ensures absolutely sharp, crisp images; and possibility of connection to digital camera for recording or measuring images. Advantages: no danger of ignition in cavities with explosive gases (fuel tanks, gas bottles); immersible in approved fluids (water and oil), no lens fogging; and no heat generation at the tip of the instrument.
