Fake Currency Detector, Double Power

Progressive Engineering Corporation has introduced Double Power DL-103 Fake Note Detector. Superior quality, small compact tabletop model, aesthetically designed DL-103 is competitively priced. Fake notes of Rs 100/500/1000 denominations are in circulation in large numbers in India. To caution citizens against this menace the Reserve Bank of India has announced details of various security features of Indian currency notes, by which a person can identify a fake note. Main features are: watermark, security thread and fluorescence. Watermark: the image of Mahatma Gandhi is visible in the watermark window. Colour: UV light posses through currency note paper and different colours, patterns and images on currency notes are visible under UV light. Security thread: special silver thread is illuminated under UV light. In the case of Rs 100/- and Rs.500/- notes, violet/blue colour emits and in case of Rs 1000/- note rainbow colour emits when seen under DL-103 fake detector. Fluorescence: number panels on notes are printed with fluorescent ink and they glow when placed under detector.
