Dumbell Cutting Die

Presto Stantest offers Dumbell Cutting Die. The “PRESTO” Specimen Cutting Dies are made out of high carbon high chrome die steel duly hardened. The edges are ground from both inside and outside to give a more accurate control over dimensions. Cutting dies are available for obtaining test specimens as per BIS, DIN, ASTM, JIS, ISO, Railways, Defense and other national and international specifications. Standard size supplied : 115mm. For conducting tests on various materials or products, test specimens of specified shapes and sizes are to be cut out of the test samples. Test specimens of rubber, leathers, fabrics, foam, flexible / semi-rigid plastics and similar other materials are usually cut with the help of knife edged dies of appropriate shapes and dimensions. The test sample / slab is placed over a flat and smooth piece of plywood, hardwood, acrylic, or hard rubber (ebonite) while the cutting die is pressed down from the top to cut out the test specimens.
Optional :The shapes of the specimens to be prepared from dies can be dumb bell, circular, rectangular, slit, angular tear, crescent tear etc as per requirement of specifications.
