Digital Spring Testing Machine

Systems & Controls offers digital spring testing machine for quick and accurate testing of the tension/compression springs. This hand wheel operated 2 column supported test stand utilises finely cut lead screw mechanism. The force measuring chain involves electronic load cell and conditioner unit with alphanumeric LCD display. The compression and elongation is measured by using a digital caliper. The force is indicated in kg, pounds or Newtons and displacement in mm or inches. Different sizes of tension hooks and compression plates are offered to accommodate wide range of springs. The test stand is equally suitable for testing tension or compression properties of other materials such as rubber, foam, strings, ropes, paper, films, etc., with suitable attachments.
