Pacific Export (Instrumentation Division) offers a new range of hand-held tachometers which can also measure RPM, surface speed and length.The three-in-one instrument can be used as a contact type tachometer (range 1-19,999 RPM) and non-contact type instrument (range 1-99,999 RPM). It can measure surface speed up to 0.1 to 1.999 metres/minute using other units. Length can be measured from 0.02 to 99,999 metres. The resolution starts from 0.01 to 1 depending on the range. Built-in memory retains maximum, minimum and last readings. This portable, battery operated unit with auto-off facility, weighs only 170 g. It is ideally suited for industries such as textile, wire winding, maintenance departments, and in industries where the users are keen to measure linear speed of moving surfaces such as conveyor belts, webs of paper, and fabrics.
