The Motwane Manufacturing Company offers Digital Insutester – D-266, a battery operated compact insulation tester housed in a robust and shock proof ABS case. It is a one instrument solution for variety of applications over wide variety of customer segments The instrument is equipped with four selectable test voltages of 100/250/500/1000 V DC available with auto-ranging resistance range up to combining the ranges of almost 12 conventional hand cranking insulation testers. The D-266 will find its application in electrical contracting, domestic as well as industrial, DOT, defence, cable manufacturers, transformers and motor manufacturers, etc. The tester is ideal for testing insulation resistance of transformers, motors, generators, switch gears, cables, power tools, etc., as well as fixed wiring systems. By virtue of its capability to take fast readings it is well suited to test relays, switches and contactors, it can also be used for QA checks of PCBs, capacitors and other insulating and dielectric materials. The terminal voltage is more than 90% of rated voltage for insulation measurements from 10% to 10% of resistance range.
