Diesel Fuel Metering System

Integra India is a group company of Integra Holding AG of Switzerland. The company is into the manufacture of railway control systems, intelligence transport systems, time solution systems and contract manufacturing. The company offers fuel metering and control system developed by its group company Aquametro AG. The system is called as Diesel Fuel Metering (DFM) for surface transport covering trucks, buses, agricultural machinery construction and diesel locomotives. Some of the salient features of ths DFM system include exact measurement of consumption leading to optimisation of operating costs. This could lead to a saving of 20%. The system also helps discover and avoid diesel theft, and prevents loss or wastage of fuel. The accurate measurement provides real basis for analysis and subsequent actions. The DFM is quick and easy to install, and works on the principal such that two flow meters are used on both the lines—supply and return lines. Differential diesel flow at supply and return lines indicates the actual and accurate fuel consumption of the engine. Integra India also makes metal-to-metal relays, domino panels and pre-wired groups for the rail safety systems for the Indian Railways. The company also manufactures distribution relays for power sector as a contract manufacturing solution.
