Determination Of Leakage Co-Ordinates In Pipes

A system is presented for the determination of coordinates of non-hermetic places in low-pressure gas pipes. Acoustic correlation measurement method is used in order to find these non-hermetic places in a pipe, irrespective of the parameters of the pipe and soil, the depth of pipe arrangement and the intensity of surrounding noise. Sensitive electroacoustic transducers and program equipment enable the repair of damage of leaks in the pipes and to quickly find the co-ordinates of the damage.
