Desk-Top Tensile Tester

Systems & Controls has introduced desk-top tensile testing machine in horizontal version. This low cost machine utilises lead screw drive mechanism for loading the test samples. The force is measured by using electronic force transducers and elongation by using optical sensor. Both the values are displayed in engineering unit on a 4-digit LED display. The lead screw is driven by motor. The machine is offered with fixed speed motor or variable speed controller depending upon the user's application. The force display has peak value memory in order to record the maximum force reached during the test. A wide range of gripping fixtures is available for testing a variety of materials such as yarn, fabric, plastic, rubber, Teflon, and wires. The load frames up to 20, 200 and 400 kg force rating are available.
