Compact Valve Tester

This is a highly sensitive instrument that can detect the leakage of LPG up to 0.5 gm/hr within 3 secs. Leakage can occur in two places on a cylinder - from the spindle of the valve and through the joint seal fitted in between the SC valve and regulator, after the fitment of regulator. The tester is designed to check both these possible leakage points. The system is designed to detect the leak on-line. Working principle: the system stops/holds the incoming cylinder on a conveyor. The operator then lowers the CVT on the SC valve and presses the pneumatic foot valve. After a preset time, the system will automatically de-clamp and release the CVT. The system will then release the tested LPG cylinder and the cycle will be repeated for next incoming LPG cylinder. The equipment conforms to IS: 8737 1995 and IS: 9798: 1995 specifications for SC valves and domestic LPG regulators respectively.
