CNC Valve Testing System

Gayatri Industrial Engineers have developed advanced CNC valve testing system which is suitable for flanged, screwed and socket-weld type ball valves with size ranging from 1/2"to 2". The CNC test system carries out hydrostatic body test, hydrostatic seat leakage test and pneumatic seat leakage test automatically. The CNC testing system has two stations for testing two different valves independently and simultaneously. Important features of the system are hydraulic flange seal system for automatic clamp-ing of different types of valves in seconds, hydrostatic testing up to 160 bar water pressure, pneumatic testing up to 7 bar air pressure and special flange clamp system for flange type valves without applying axial clamping force. CNC control module facili-tates entering valve and test cycle data for each valve under different programme numbers and allows selection of manual, programme, auto and diagnostic mode for fault location. Two separate keyboards have been provided for entering data for each station which are displayed on a common monitor. While testing valves, when the programme number is entered in computer, test parameters and test cycles are automatically selected and all functions like clamping of' valves, filling water, pressurizing the valve to required test pressure for given time, draining water, etc, are automatically carried out by the computer. Vari-ous test data and results are stored in the computer memory and test reports can be printed in desired format.
