Bursting strength tester, fully automatic digital model

Bursting strength is a reliable index of the strength and performance of materials like paper, paperboards, corrugated boards and boxes, solid fibre-boards, filter cloth, industrial fabrics, leather, rexine, etc. UBIQUE bursting strength tester is ideal for testing a wide range of materials to determine their quality, strength and performance. The fully automatic digital model has single push-button operation and facility to adjust clamping pressure. It also has a provision for adjustment of pre-determined clamping pressure to eliminate variations in the readings due to variations in clamping pressure when done manually. The tester features high precision digital read-out. Readings are displayed digitally with least count of 0.1 kg/cm2. It is available in two ranges: i) Board tester with moulded rubber diaphragm, range 3-35 kg/cm2 (UBS 35A); readings in lower range are only indicative; and ii) Paper tester with thinner rubber diaphragm, range 0-7 kg/cm2 (UBS 7A). Technical specifications: dimensions in mm (L x W x H - 620 x 570 x 580; weight in kg - 85; power requirement of electric motors - 0.5 kW single phase, 220 V; and compressed air for automatic clamping of sample (to be provided by user) - 5 kg/cm2.
