Presto Stantest manufactures Bursting Strength Tester, fully automatic equipment with single push-button operation facility. This tester designed with hardened diaphragm works based on the hydraulic principle. Perfectly matched motor gives constant pumping rate for better performance and eliminates manual error. Maximum pointer (lazy needle) is provided for peak value recording and flat angled gauges are incorporated for greater accuracy. The tester is available with single or two pressure gauges. Changeover from one gauge to the other is enabled by a simple lever mechanism. Different ranges of these testers include 0-7, 0-21 and 0-35 Kg/cm2.
- Burst strength of paper, paperboard, corrugated boards, solid fibreboard, and filter cloth/industrial fabric among others as per Indian and International standards such as TAPPI, ASTM and FEFCO.
- Opening in upper clamp: 30.5 mm dia
- Opening in lower clamp: 38.1 mm dia
- Rate of fluid displacement: 95 cc/minute
- Pressure range: any one of the following ranges can be provided: 7 kgf/cm2, 14 kgf/cm2, 21 kgf/cm2, 28 kgf/cm2, 35 kgf/cm2
- Test fluid: Glycerine
- Motor: 1/4 HP single phase
- Gearbox: Worm reduction type
