Bulk density meter

The IPA Flowmatics Pvt Ltd"s bulk density meter ISO 2503 is a general purpose instrument that can be used to measure the bulk density of any free flowing powder or granular product. This includes tea, coffee powder, chicory powder, instant coffee, milk powder, soup powder, sugar, salt, rice, wheat, cereals, pulses, oats, flour, pigments, metallic powders, extenders, etc. This meter generally meets the standards laid down by international standard ISO 787/11 and ASTM B 527 93. Model BDM ISO -2503 vibrates a pan holding a 250 cc measuring flask through a precise amplitude of 3 mm and by a pre set number of strokes, selected according to the characteristics of the material and the objectives of measurement. The number of strokes of jogging can be set anywhere between 1 and 9999, inside the meter, depending upon the product. The volume of standard weight of the product, as can be read off the graduations of the measuring flask, after jogging the product in the flask by the pre set and selected number of stokes, is a measure of the bulk density of the product. For specific applications, other models can be supplied with a flask of different capacity and the stroke of different amplitude, on request.
