Battery Tester

Nana Industries offers a Battery Tester, Model HRD-4W. This tester is designed to test lead acid automotive batteries. Since it is high rate discharge tester, batteries can be checked thoroughly on this tester. From two LED indications, a faulty battery can be detected immediately. This tester comprises the following: digital voltmeter – a 3½ digit 20 V LED voltmeter, which displays battery voltage continuously and powered by the battery under test; battery condition indicator – there are two indicators on this tester, Good and Bad; after giving load if really battery is in healthy condition then the Good indicator will remain On, and if the battery is in discharged condition (or weak) then the Bad indicator will come On and load will stop immediately; and timer – when the start button is pushed, the timer connects the load to the battery for 5 sec with audible annunciation (buzzer). Features: operating voltage is 12 V DC (self powered); to increase reliability and performance of instrument, force cooling is provided by DC fan, which extracts the heat efficiently; light weight and compact size; easy to transport from one place to another; and heavy-duty switches/contactors are used to select desired load.
