Trimos Metrology (I) Pvt Ltd offers an Automatic Measuring and Sorting System, VIDEOcheck VVC 100, from Vester Elektronik GmbH. This is a standardised, universally applicable system for the inspection of 100% control of a maximum variety of series parts in the fields of automotive engineering, telecommunication, electric engineering, etc. The main purpose of inspection is the detection of errors in dimensions and shapes of the outlines of parts, which can be transported in constant positions. Transport is carried out by means of quickly exchangeable, inclined inspection rails of different designs. The size, the position of the centre of gravitation, and the geometry of the parts to be inspected are essential for the selection of the guiding rail. Inspection is carried out without contact by means of one or several CCD matrix cameras. The pictures which thus are created and also the complete inspection and sorting process are evaluated and controlled by a modern PC image processing system. The parts are illuminated by means of trans-illumination, flashed with high quality telecentrical illumination components– in individual cases also by means of vertical illumination, depending on the characteristics to be inspected. Also in the objectives, high precision telecentrical components are applied exclusively. The programming of the VIDEOcheck system is carried out by the user himself. For this purpose, the company offers the required training.
