Analogue Speed-O-Meter with AC Tachogenrator

The analogue speed-o-meter with AC tachogenrator is a moving coil instrument to show rotation speed or surface speed with the help of 2-pole AC bracket/flange type tachogenerator. When the tachogenerator is given a drive it rotates and produces voltage which gives deflections like 90?/120?/240? are available. Accuracy on full scale deflection is within 2/3% of the total scale. The tachogenerator voltage may be 10 V/20 V AC at 1000 RPM or it may be as per the requirement of customer. Frequency is 16.66 Hz. Also 48-pole AC flange/bracket type tachogenerators are available. These produce 33.3 V AC at 1000 RPM or can be designed to suit the requirement of customers.
