Thermostats

SR Thermostats work on the differential expansion principle. The outer shell is made of a metal with a high coefficient of expansion and the strut assembly is made of a metal with a low coefficient of expansion. Sensitivity is to 0.1?C, and anticipation characteristic prevents overshoot. Compact 5/8"x 4"models are available in cartridge, hex head, coupling head, flange head and extended shell types. The temperature range is adjustable from -70 to +300?C. User areas are: hydraulic laminating presses, label adhesive applicators, deep fat cookers, respirators, vending machines, milk pasteurisers, overheat detectors, plastic moulding, vulcanizing equipment, packaging equipment, canning equipment, textile platens, paint drying equipment, hot stamp printers, tropical fish tanks, strip sealing machines, film processing, environmental cabinets, baking ovens, refrigerated and frozen food transportation vehicles, fire alarms, smoke generators, and baby incubators.
