Thermostats

SR thermostats work on the differential expansion principle. The outer shell is made of a metal with a high coefficient of expansion and the strut assembly is made of a metal with a low coefficient of expansion. Sensitivity to 0.1?C anticipation characteristic prevents overshoot. Compact 5/8"x 4"models are available in cartridge, hex head, flange head, coupling head, and extended shell types. The temperature range adjustable is -70 to +300?C. User areas are: strip sealing machines, hydraulic laminating presses, label adhesive applicators, overheat detectors, plastic moulding machines, paint drying equipment, film processing, baking ovens, fire alarms, baby incubators, and textile platens.
