Temperature Controller, Economy Series

Selec Controls has launched Model TC544, as part of its new Economy Series of temperature controllers. TC544 has a 4-digit dual LED display and 2 relay outputs (SPST contact). SSR output versions are also available on request. The controller supports four types of thermocouple inputs (K, J, T, R, S) and Pt100 type RTD input. The controllers operate in PID mode for heating and cooling applications, with on demand auto-tune feature that establishes the tuning constants automatically. It also operates in simple On-Off mode with programmable hysteresis. Indications for output, tune and soak timer status are located on the front panel. It incorporates special security features such as set point and program menu locking to prevent manipulation of parameters by unauthorised person. The controller has a unique heat-cool mode with auto-tuning, dwell timer (soak timer) suitable for bakery and scientific applications. TC544 operates on a universal supply voltage of 85 to 270 V AC/DC. It is housed in 1/16 DIN attractive enclosure, and is CE certified. TC513 with 3 digit single display and TC533 with 3-digit dual display are also available.
