Pyrometers

Accurate Sensors Technologies has launched new E series Pyrometers. These are digital pyrometers with extended optical head and 5 core cable for non contact temperature measurement on metals, ceramics, graphite etc between 0°C and 3200°C.The optical head is unaffected by electromagnetic interferences, (e.g. induction). The pyrometer is equipped with a display (optional), which shows in measuring mode the current temperature. Additionally all parameters can be read and changed via integrated keys. AST E series is provided with USB 2 connector with cable. The pyrometer can be powered through USB port of the laptop computer. In this case no external power supply is required. Analog output is 4-20 mA (0-20 mA/0-10 V/0-5 V user selectable). The company, along with 3T – True Temperature Technologies – established in 1994 focuses on the development and commercialisation of non-contact temperature measurement technologies. Based on these technologies, AST & 3T has brought to the market a line of pyrometers for the remote measurement of target temperatures using no physical contact. Field tests performed on AST & 3T pyrometers under actual production conditions worldwide have proven that the company pyrometers have a temperature measurement error of less than 1% regardless of emissivity or intermediate conditions and fluctuations. Such a high degree of accuracy and repeatability in temperature measurement can have a significant impact on the quality of the production processes in many metal processing industries, among others aluminum, steel, copper, magnesium, titanium and semiconductors.
