Maynard Instruments & Controls manufactures Model M-2025. It is a microprocessor-based system for continuous monitoring of temperature. The system consists of a sensor and an indicator with programmable temperature setting and control for NO/ NC contacts. The equipment comes in DIN standard casing. All objects emit measurable infrared energy. The meter uses special optics to gather infrared energy from a target surface and focuses this energy on to a custom detector. At that point, the detector will convert the infrared energy into an electrical signal proportionate to the temperature of the target surface. The final outcome is a digital temperature measurement in degrees centigrade. Applications: power, chemical, food, fertilizer, plastic, motor, refrigeration, paper, textiles, railways, defence, steel, cement, battery, etc. Its measuring range is from -10°C to 400°C, resolution is 1°C, field of view is 5:1, accuracy ±2°C, and display - super bright LED. Maynard"s most affordable hand-held battery instrument Quick Temp M-9 is also available. It serves basic requirement for most temperature measuring applications.
