Mercury-Steel Thermometer

The Mercury-Steel Thermometers are expansion thermometers, filled with mercury, which acts as sensing element to the temperature. When the sensing bulb filled with the mercury is immersed in the process media, mercury expands with response to temperature, which pressurises the basic sensing element, i.e., Bourdon tube and deflects the pointer through movement mechanism. These are used in the field where the temperature has to be measured locally. These gauges are available with 4" and 6? dial size; offer accuracy of ?1% with complete SS construction including case, bezel, and the stem material. These are available with direct mounting stem type or distance mounting capillary version. These can be fitted with electrical contact to monitor temperature of process media. The gauge can be filled with glycerine to resist vibration. Mounting option is available with direct mounting, surface mounting, or panel mounting, with bottom and back entries. The connection is provided with fix or adjustable immersion length, having the stem/bulb dia of 6, 8, 10, 12, or 16 mm. The ranges are available from -38?C to 600?C. However, these are not recommended for more than 500? C.
