IR Thermal Condensation Scanner

Extech Instruments, a FLIR company, has launched a dual laser IR Thermal Condensation Scanner, Model IRT600. This measures temperature and humidity then calculates dew point and warns when conditions for mould growth exist. Applications: HVAC, mould remediation, scientific/educational, industrial processes, consumer home-owner, archives/museums, etc. Bright LED indicator changes from green (normal, 1/3 range of environment temperature to dew point) to yellow (warning, 2/3 range which shows place will develop mildew) or red (alert, exceeds 2/3 range that shows place has mildew). Features: great for processes that require surface temperature control and monitoring; Green LED changes to Yellow and then to Red as the surface temperature reading gets closer to and then equals the calculated dew point reading; dual lasers indicate ideal measuring distance where the two lasers converge to a 1” target spot; 12:1 distance to target ratio; 150 millisecond IR temperature response time; switchable backlight and laser; max hold; and complete with case and 9V battery.
