Blind Temperature Controller

PPI offers high performance, accurate and industrial grade blind temperature controller, BTC-1. It is calibrated for J/K thermocouple as well as RTD Pt-100 sensor and is available in standard temperature ranges of 200, 400, 600 and 1,200?C. The desired temperature can be set by adjusting the potentiometric pointer on linearly dialed scale. A front panel centre zero deviation meter is provided to indicate the process temperature within ?20?C of the set point. The control action is either On-Off or time proportionating with output as relay changeover contacts rated at 6 A/240 V AC (resistive load). The relay On/Off status is indicated by two separate front panel LEDs. The controller incorporates in-built, automaticcold junction compensation for thermocouple input and lead resistance compensation for Pt-100 sensor input. It also features fail-safe for open/break sensor and operates on 230 V AC supply voltage. The instrument is housed in an ABS moulded enclosure having dimensions of 96 (H) x 96 (W) x 150 (D) mm and panel cutout of 92 x 92 mm.
