Adjustable Angle Bi-Metal Thermometers

C160 series adjustable angle bi-metal thermometers are designed for specific applications where standard models may be unsuitable for easy reading. The low cost, high quality and a wide range of features meet most of the measuring requirements. Series C160 thermometers incorporate a highly sensitive bi-metallic helix sensing element (heattreated for optimum stability and over-temperature capability) which provides a direct reading accurate to ?1% of full scale reading. The rear adjustment screw offers easy recalibration in the field to allow maximum accuracy at selected areas of temperature range. Specifications are: nominal sizes: 3", 4", 5", and 6"; measuring range: -50?C to 500?C (dual scale ?C and ?F available); case and bezel: 300 series SS; window: glass; pointer: aluminium, black painted; dial: aluminum, white background, black graduations and lettering; stem: 300 series SS, welded at tip and case connector to prevent leakage, 1/4"diameter 6"length are the standard design; other diameters and stem length are available upon request; connection: bottom, 300 series SS 1/4", 1/2", 3/4"NPT/BSPT are standard; sensing element: bi-metal helix which has been carefully sized, tested and heat-treated to ensure continued accuracy; and accuracy ?1.0% of full scale.
