Thermoparamagnetic Oxygen Analyser

P D Enterprises manufactures the 8863 thermoparamagnetic oxygen analyser sensor assembly, which can be supplied in a general purpose or explosion proof housing. Both types of housing are of rugged cast aluminium construction, which allows reliable operation under adverse ambient conditions. The cell block assembly is made of stainless steel and contains the cell cavity and pole pieces that produce two powerful magnetic fields in the cavity. Associated with each field is a thermistor pair, consisting of a measuring thermistor and reference thermistor. The measuring thermistor is mounted in the cavity within its respective magnetic zone; the corresponding reference thermistor is mounted in the cavity just outside its magnetic zone. The control unit is a powerful microcomputer-based system that can be configured through keyboard, allowing selection of range, type of alarms, set point, hysteresis and delay. The standard power supply 24 V DC for DIN or Omega rail mounting is part of the instrument. The control unit mounted on the front panel of the control unit, provides a continuous readout indication in per cent concentration of oxygen, alarms set points, alarm conditions. A single alarm (Hi or Lo) or optional dual alarms (one Hi and one Lo, two Hi or two Lo) can be provided.
