Halogen Leak Detectors

Chirag Electronics offers pump style automatic halogen detectors to detect all halogenated refrigerants. The instruments have a high efficiency pump in the probe handle and its long flexible stainless probes reach all areas. Units do not have any calibration and could be turned on simply to begin the search for leaks. The unit's sensor is super-sensitive and responds to minute traces of halogen with a leak rate of 40 ounces per year and is not poisoned by large doses of refrigerant. It is operated on 3 V DC and requires two C-type battery cells .
