Pressure Transmitters

Instruments & Systems offers Industrial Series Pressure Transmitters, ISP-200. The sensors are piezo-resistive pressure sensors based on ceramic. The measuring bridge is printed directly on one side of the ceramic diaphragm by means of thick film technology. Because of the excellent chemical resistance no additional protection is normally required. The sensors are designed in such a way so that temperature changes and overloading do not cause any loss in reliability. The use of ceramic ensures high linearity across the entire range of measurement and reduces effects of hysteresis to a minimum. The sensors are thermal compensated by laser adjustable PTC resistors. Specifications: range – 0-1 bar to 0-400 bar; material – sealing ring of NBR/EPDM/others on request., diaphragm of Al2O3 96% and case made of stainless steel/IP65 die-cast aluminium; signal/supply – 4-20 mA, 2-wire/8-32 V DC; accuracy – 0.5% of span; repeatability – 0.5% of span; permissible temperature – -20°C to +85°C; and zero and span adjustable. The company was started in 1985 with view to provide automation solutions to sugar industries, where the automation was still in its nascent stage at that time. Over a period time it has executed a number of automation projects with PLCs, DCS, SCADA, soft logic controls, RDACs, etc., depending upon the requirement; and provides an entire range of I/O modules, controllers, scanners, remote terminals units, signal isolators/converters, HMI/SCADA software products, interoperability products as well as customised products.
