Tiwac is a division of Walchandnagar Industries Limited, a multidivisional company . The company offers pressure gauges in the size 1-1/2” to 10” having pressure range 0 to 700 kg/cm² (10000 psi) and vacuum are manufactured. The gauges are manufactured in various types like glycerine filled, diaphragm seal, low pressure diaphragm, weather proof, all SS gauges electrical contact, master gauges, etc, to suit various applications. As a next logical step, development of mercury in steel temperature gauges was undertaken in 1996-97. At present, the company manufactured 4” and 6” sizes gauges with different mountings having temperature range from –35°C to 600°C. At present, these pressure gauges and temperature gauges are used on industrial boilers (with IBR certificate) national thermal power stations, NPC, fertiliser and chemical factories, etc. The company has plans to develop sophisticated and special type of pressure gauges like receive gauges, differential gauges, etc. In temperature gauges, it is planning to
