Air pressure limiter

Model PPS-01 is a pressure sensing proximity switch (air limiter), manufactured by Multi Tech. It provides electrical signal through changeover contact. The switch actuates on the back pressure developed by the air jet impact on the object such as dimensioning, positioning, and working surfaces. It is also known as "part seat check switch". The distance sensed by this switch is generally dependent on the profile of the surface, this typically being 0.01 0.15 mm. Features: compact, sturdy and simple design; manifold mountability for more than one switch; sensor uses air, which is easy to handle; adequate electrical contact rating, 5/15 A (optional) at 230 V AC; built in LED indicator; accurate measurement of distance or dimension by built in precision needle valve and highly sensitive micro switch; pressure gauge included; sensing (air jet) orifice dia 1 mm; excellent response; and drain plug included. Applications: where non-contact sensing is required; powder and metal particles are present making precision sensing difficult by other methods, such as in SPMs, presses, die casting machines, metal forming machines, etc; heat and water proof sensing is required, such as in steel plants, type industries, washing machines, etc; and automatic sensing of precise dimensioning, such as in SPMs, grinding machines, separators, inspection equipment.
