Computer & Control Systems is an exclusive distributor of Applied Precision Limited – Slovakia, for India and neighbouring countries. The company has introduced a new improved portable Working Standard Meter for on-site testing of electricity meters. For the first time available in three accuracies, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2, these come in single phase (WS 2120) and three phase (WS 2320) models, for display of current, voltage, apparent, active and reactive power and energy, power factor, frequency and distortion as well as harmonic analysis and vector diagram in tabular and graphical forms. These can also measure transformation ratio of voltage and current transformers, available with a portable printer option. The meters come with clamp on current CTs or flexible current probes. These are precision reference meters for electrical power and energy measurement, dedicated to on-site meters testing, alongside as HHU for local data exchange with multifunctional meters, designed for operation in single-, two- and three-phase systems, where they evaluate and display all individual quantities per phase and cumulative three-phase ones as well; besides these permit ETDs local programming and data reading in multifunctional meters. Universal inputs can be equipped with interchangeable precision voltage sensor working up to 600 V and current sensors working up to 3000 A, 6000 A or more. Measurement is based on precision A/D conversion and DSP technology and enables accurate high-speed real time evaluation of all main and informative quantities. Beyond measurement of power, voltage, current and phase the meters indicate voltage sequence, evaluates active, reactive and apparent energy for register testing and measures distortion and wave-form of measured signals. Software for MS Windows enables transfer and presentation of measured data in PC. Optional portable printer enables on-site printing of results or actual display content.
