Being a light weight instrument, this meter is easy to carry for remote testing, etc. The tachometer covers range in photo type form 5 RPM to 99,999 RPM and in contact type 0.5 to 19999 RPM with surface speed measuring capabilities in both feet per minute and meter per minute. Additional design features include a large LCD, self calibration, memory of last value, maximum value and minimum value, completely battery operated, inter changeability of adaptors for measuring surface speed, and RPM of both shafts with center or without center. Typical areas of application are measuring RPM/speeds of motors, pumps, centrifuges, engines and gears.
