Kusam Electrical Industries offers single phase trms power clamp meter, model – KM 2740.
- With six models of power clamp meters, the firm has introduced the latest in technology power clamp meter; these meters are very light (approx 225 gm) and compact in size making it the most convenient instrument available.
- This clamp-on meter is designed to apply around or remove from uninsulated hazardous live conductors, though individual protective equipment must be used in case of hazardous live parts in the installation where measurement is to be carried out.
- ?Model KM 2740 has 6000 counts LCD display on voltage function, 9999 counts in power, Ohm & Hz function & 4000 counts in ACA clamp-on function; packed with features not available in other contemporary instruments.
- It can measure TRMS 1000A AC current upto 3.1KHz frequency, TRMS AC 600V upto 3.1 KHz frequency, DC 600 volts, resistance up to 1000Ω, frequency, continuity.
- It can measure Power parameters like (600)W, (600) VAR & (600)VA with dual-display total power factor. It has peak-rms hold & data hold facility
- Optional RS232 interface for transfer of data onto the PC; transient protection up to 6.5KV (1.2/50µs surge) lightning surge; meets the requirements for CAT III 600V AC & DC.
- It has AutoVA check facility; meets EMC requirements and IEC 61010-2-032 2nd edition (2002), UL61010B-2-032 (2003).
- It takes conductors up to 45mm dia; operates on 1.5V AAA battery x 2; it is supplied with carrying case, operating manual, test leads (pair) & batteries; PC interface kit is optional.
