Rotameters

R R Flowmeters offers Rotameter. This is water auditing that is measuring the flow rate in pipes without causing any damage, with clamp-on type portable ultrasonic flow meters. It measures the flow rate of water in canals or open conduits with proper flumes. Most rotameter consist of a tapered tube containing a float. Fluid passing through the meter exerts an upward force on the float that is counterbalanced by the force of gravity. The point at which the float stays constant indicates the volumetric flow rate, which is often read on a scale on the meter tube. The tube is made of metal, glass, or plastic.
