Ph Meters With Programmable Features

Eutech Instruments, Holland, offers a range of standard CyberScan pH meters. The standard CyberScan pH Series are powerful instruments ideal for research laboratories and can be customised to simplify measurement routine. The CyberScan pH 1000/2000 measures pH, mV, relative mV and temperature, while the pH 2500 has the additional capability of measuring ion concentration directly. Its easy-touse, programmable features offer greater flexibility and convenience to the user. User customisation allows the user to configure meter operation for individual requirements. Customisable functions include: pH resolution, datalog/ print criteria, auto-off, Ready, Default setup and communication protocol. Non-volatile memory stores and retains up to 16 sets even when the meter is powered-off. Multipoint pushbutton calibration (up to 5-points) provides full range accuracy. Auto buffer recognition minimises calibration errors and built-in ATC feature ensures reliability of measurement. A special Cal Edit function allows non-standard buffer values to be input for wider calibration options. Audible limit alarm alerts user when measurements exceed preset high/low set-points. Timer for time lapse measure- ment freeze last measured value and beeps when set time is reached. Data log/print and bidirectional RS-232 communication provides convenience to log or print data (pH 2000 and pH 2500 only) when Ready or at timed intervals up to 24 hours. This interface allows greater flexibility for user to control meter functions from computer with a data acquisition software (DAS) which can be used with any spreadsheet program for analysis and report generation.
