Multifunction Meters with Communication (MFM383C)

Selec Controls has added to its range of meters, a ¼ DIN Multifunction Meter, MFM383C with communication for 3-phase, 4-wire and single phase 2-wire systems. MFM383C uses RS485 (half duplex) communication interface with MODBUS (RTU) protocol. The maximum transmission speed is 19200 bps. MFM383C has a 3-line, 3-digit large, highly visible LCD display with backlight. It also includes an 8-digit, 4th line which displays energy. The LCD is used for displaying all the parameters and a bar graph is provided for indication of current (in percentages). The display is configured as different pages, each page displaying 3 parameters. Scrolling between pages can be done manually or automatically. The product monitors 3-phase (RMS) voltage, current, active and apparent power, power factor as well as frequency and energy. It also measures total active, apparent and re-active power. The CT primary is programmable from 5 to 5000. The unit operates on an auxiliary supply voltage of 90 to 270 V AC, ¼ DIN LED and LCD versions without communication are also available.
