High Output Accelerometer

PCB Piezotronics, USA, offers Model 352A22 miniature accelerometer for measuring shock and vibration on lightweight structures or in confined places. ICP signal conditioning microelectronics built-in for high output, gives a high signal to noise ratio. Resolution is of the order of 0.00159. Due to miniature size, lightweight (1/2 g) and adhesive installation, it has an added advantage in measuring vibration at inaccessible places. The integral cable assembly provides for direct analysis through FFT analysers, vibration meters and data collectors. A variety of signal conditioners are also available for interfacing to any voltage readout. General range is between 5 Hz and 800 Hz. It is ideal for testing PCB's disk drive mechanism and other such small components. It can withstand temperature up to 121?C.
