Polytronic Corporation, an ISO certified company, is engaged in manufacture and supply of a comprehensive range of industrial magnetic instruments. Model GM-504 gaussmeter is suited for laboratory, quality control and production applications. It measures DC magnetic field density. Typical applications are measurement of magnetic field of electromagnet and permanent magnet assemblies, loud speakers, etc. Solid state circuitry with 3½ digit readout provides accuracy of ±1% full scale and resolution of 0.1% full scale in three ranges from 200 gauss to 20 kilo gauss full scale. Pre-calibrated axial and transverse hall effect probe are used with this instrument. Auxiliary output provides a 1 volt per 1000 count signal. The model GM-504 gaussmeter is housed in an attractive plastic cabinet which can be used in laboratory or industries with a system or as an independent instrument. Specification: measuring ranges – 1.0 to 200 gauss 0.1 gauss resolution, 2.0 to 20 K gauss 1 gauss resolution; 3.0 to 20 K gauss 10 gauss resolution; accuracy – 1%; protection – over range protection up to 100%; indication – three and half digit seven segment LED display; probe – hall probe supplied with the equipment is made out of gallium arsenide crystal is 6 mm wide and 1 mm thick; the instrument is supplied with a metre length of cable and is enclosed in cylindrical metal casing; and input requirement – 230 V AC ±10%, 50 Hz, single phase.
