Vasavi Electronics offers Digital Turns Tester & LCRTZ Meter. This can measure inductance, capacitance, AC/DC resistance, impedance, and transformation ratio with winding polarity (TR JIG). It provides simultaneous indication of value and tan delta. It is ideal for testing capacitors with high resolution of tan delta and ESR. Optional RS232C port is provided for PC control with control software for multi-testing. Unbalance of inductance, capacitance, resistance and impedance can be measured.If the individual readings are R1 and R2 then unbalance = (R1-R2) x 100 (R1+R2). Turns tester attachments include: toroidal turns platforms, bobbin turns platforms and user friendly menu driven software.

- Measure mode – series/parallel EQ selectable.
- Measurement voltage – 0.1 V – 1.0 V RMS.
- 4T or Kelvin test – for eliminating lead resistance/inductance.
- Display – separate displays for simultaneous display of value with units and DF/QF – 0.5" LED display – 4-digit – value, 2-digit – units 4-digit – DF/QF/PA plus LED status indication.
- Auto ranging with range-hold facility.
- Inductance (L) – 0.1 uH-200 H.
- Capacitance (C) – 0.1 pF-2000 uF.
- Resistance (Rac) and impedance (Z) – 0.01 Ohm-200 kOhm.
- Resistance (Rdc) – 0.01 Ohm-20 kOhm.
- Trans ratio and polarity – 0.001-1.0000 ( +0.2%+1 digit @ 1 kHz +0.5%+1 digit @ other) with TRJIG (supplied on option).
- Tan delta (DF) – 0.0001-9.999 (+0.0002 + 1% reading @ 1 kHz, +0.001 +2% reading @ other frequency; quality factor (QF) – 0.001- 999 (+2% + 0.1Q @ 1 kHZ, +5%+0.5 Q @ other frequency Q<100.0).
- Power requirement – 230 V +10% 50 Hz AC mains.
- Unbalance test (with PC control) – this test calculates the percentage unbalance of the two tests.
