Kusam Electrical Industries offers a Digital Sound Level Meter, Model – KM 927/KM 928/KM 929. These meters are designed and built to meet the measurement requirements of safety engineers, health, industrial safety offices and quality control in various environments according to IEC 651 Type II, ANSI S1.4 II. Sound is an oscillation of air molecules caused by pressure differences. A sound level meter is a device, which measures sound pressure to determine how intense sounds are, measured in decibels. Prolonged exposure to sounds over 85 decibels can lead to hearing loss, making measurement of decibel levels important for people who work in noisy environments so that they know when they need to protect their ears. A sound emitting source causes the surrounding to oscillate. The air transmits these pressure differences.
