Kusam Electrical Industries Ltd, an ISO 9001-2008 certified company, has added a new “Kusam-Meco” brand DC Milli Ohm Meter, Model KM Ohm-8500, which has 4½ digits LED display with comprehensive parameter indication that makes the reading clear and simple. Readings can be taken during the day and also in dark. Due to simple design, it is very easy to operate. It has 8 measuring ranges: 20m?, 200m?, 2?, 20?, 200?, 2k?, 20k?, 200k?, with accuracy 0.05% +2 digit. It features very high stability. It gives accurate readings due to 4-wire measurement. A unique feature is % error selectable in 3 steps, i.e., 1%, 2% and 3%. It has very high sampling speed (8 times/second). The auxiliary power required is AC 220 V ±10%. It has memory to store all setting parameters. The maximum output current is 1 A. In the Grade Testing Mode, multi display of parameters allows simultaneous reading of the resistance value and percentage error. The resistance can be classified in 3 preset grades and Good/Fail can be indicated visually or by sound. It also has a communication port. It operates on AC 230V ± 10%; 50 Hz ±10%.
