Portable Hardness Tester

HARTIP 1800B is an advanced, state-of-the-art palm size metal hardness tester with many new features and high accuracy.

HARTIP 1800B can be used for testing hardness of almost all ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as steel, tool steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, etc. Hardness can be measured in suitable hardness scales such as Rockwell (C & B), Brinell, Vickers, Shore, Leebs & also strength of material.

This hardness tester is suitable for medium & large size components such as moulds, dies, machine tools beds, castings, forgings etc. to name a few. It can be easily carried to fields & vendors for on the spot hardness testing of various materials.

HARTIP 1800B is a lightweight (110 gm), easy to operate hardness tester with built-in probe (impact device) and high contrast bright digital display that is readable even under sunshine as well as in dark areas. It has high accuracy (± 0.5%, ± 4 HL). It has memory storage capacity of 400 test values, which can be reviewed at a later stage. Statistical analysis (Average / Max / Min) of the test values can also be displayed. It can be used under extreme Indian conditions (up to 60° C room tempperature). It has built-in re-chargeable Li-ion batteries.

HARTIP 1800B confirms to international standards such as ASTM A956, GB/T 17394-1998.
