These machines work on the pendulum hammer principle. The energy absorbed in breaking a standard test specimen is directly indicated on a large analogue dial. Both Izod and Charpy tests are possible on Model FIT-300-N. Digital indication of energy absorbed is also possible on request. The impact testers find their use in laboratories of engineering industries, foundries and forging plants, electrode manufacturers, engineering colleges, research laboratories, and plastic manufacturers, among others. The machines meet the requirements of IS/BS/ASTM Standards.
