Digital Force Gauge

Systems & Controls offers a micro controller based digital force gauge for quick and accurate measurement of breaking strength of textile yarn, wire or paper, etc. It is a portable hand held instrument that works on 6 V DC rechargeable batteries. It can be also mounted on test stands (vertical or horizontal) so that tensile and compression tests can be carried out on variety of material suitable fixtures available to hold the variety of material. It is also suitable to carry compression tests on foam, rubber or springs, etc. The rated capacity is available up to 10 kg. The force measuring chain involves load cell and conditioner unit and alphanumeric backlit LCD display. The force is displayed in kg, pounds or Newtons. It has also peak force memory.
