Digital Tension Meters

NavTek Instruments offers Digital Tension Meters. These are accurate, dependable and reliable, all digital meters. These can be equipped with rollers for materials, such as tapes, webs, sheets, etc. Roller configurations are available in hard-coated aluminium, SS, Delrin or PTFE Teflon. Standard features of all models include large, easy-to-read, backlit dot matrix display. Select tension values to display in g rams, Newtons or lbs. Indicate speed of material in feet per minute, or show length of part run in feet or meters. Minimum and maximum readings for both tension and speed for wires, filaments or custom calibrations, select calibration by material and size, allowing for maximum full scale accuracies of ±1% speed up or slow down DRO updates. Re-chargeable NIMH batteries provided with power supply. There is provision for automatic shut-off after 10 minutes of non-use. Calibration certificate included. All calibration values are traceable to national standards. TX-100 standard resolution is 5 g, adjustable to 1 g. TX-5000 standard resolution is 10 g, adjustable to 5 g. Menu-selectable calibrations provide maximum accuracy for material whether filaments, AWG, or custom calibrations. All models are typically available from inventory.
